Toy siblings bond

I happened to bond more with my brother Woody than with other members of my family; and of course, Jessie is only second to him. We share something special, that the other Primes don’t have: we are toys. I ought to repeat it once more: toys can understand a toy’s sufferance like no other, and living under the same roof, being family, only brings the feeling to get stronger and stronger as time passes. Woody has gotten to be closer to a best friend to me, and Jessie is a person who truly has a power to heal souls. Sometimes I envy her.

My other siblings are nothing less, though. I love them all, I cherish every second spent together. Also, I feel more and more proud of Asha. If you haven’t lived the necessity of wearing prescription glasses, well, you can’t really understand. Asha not only had to overcome her insecurities, but she also worried so much about our family’s financial condition that she begged mom and dad to get her cheap eyeglasses (from Zenni Optical) instead of expensive ones. We have read the article on The Examiner together to make sure the brand was trustworthy, and when we discovered it was indeed possible to get high quality eyeglasses for little cost, Asha gave us white flag. She is awesome, seriously.

And now, my blog friends and my other blog at SailTheSky.org need some good shout. I’ll be around.

There has been some discussion at home, regarding my sister Asha and the fact that she needs to periodically wear prescription glasses, because she lost some degrees on both of her eyes. One of my brothers says she complains too much, but I do not think so. She often sees herself as an ugly creature, and that can be enough of a reason to make her fear wearing glasses. Mom and dad, along with me and other siblings, tried to make her feel better instead, and to use the chance to wear glasses as one to beautify her face and increase her “liking level”. So she did; and she’s doing great. :) Asha made an effort to virtual try on frames and see how they matched their personality, and she chose a pair accordingly. I think that is very mature of a teenager, particularly of one with low self-esteem issue. I’m proud of you, little sister. :)
