Papers with Chrissa and nostalgy for my dad

Chrissa is writing a paper on Astrophysics, which is right up my alley. ;)

I’ve studied and researched so many books about space, the universe, galaxies— I really hope I can be helpful to her, I don’t want her overstressing herself over a research paper.

We were helped by a pretty fun tool at http://helpfulpapers.com/. Chrissa had a memorable laugh when we used it the first time! LOL TheĀ thesis generator was truly super helpful: with only a few broad topics and sentences, it generated a thesis statement for us to get started with. More than one, actually.

The experience was a positive one, so I’ll be suggesting the tool to Fulmine Petti (Robocity) for his business of helping others with papers. I think this could really boost his productivity and allow him to help even MORE people than he does now. What a time saver! :D

This is a first attempt Chrissa and I made using the generator:

Our attempt for Astrophysics in 2012!

That’s how powerful it can be. ;) And of course, anything that reads ‘weird’ is just because of me and Chrissa, not the site’s fault. LOL !

Just to switch subjects, now— uhm… I have to stop an heave a nostalgic sigh for my late father. His funeral was February 27th and my heart is still wounded from his loss. I know he’s in a far better place and it’s selfish of me to want him here with me just because I’m lonely without him, but I can’t help myself. I’m living in the happy memories of my father now; celebrating his life, not mourning his death. He wouldn’t want me to focus on his passing, because in so doing, I’ll be forgetting his LIFE— and isn’t that what matters in the end? Life is ALL that matters; everything else is nonsense. Death is just the next great adventure, and I hope to meet up again with my father when I take on my next great adventure.

I know that might sound silly of me to say, but it’s just the way I feel.

Chrissa’s love for… housework

Thursday, February 21st, 2013

Too good to be true, but I’m going after a service like Maid Service Ashburn VA. ;)

The reason?

Chrissa Selton.

Yes, you read it right. It’s my girlfriend who’s looking after a house cleaning service to ask for a position as a cleaner. She got fired at her previous part-time job and she doesn’t feel like embarking on another intellectual project, so she’d rather do something entirely manual and humble for the moment.

She picked house cleaning because she finds housework— fun. xD Yes, really! Ahah! Chrissa is like that. She surprises me all the time. :)

Anyway, I’m glad she picked Maid to Please Inc. as a standard of comparison because that’s a quality service I’ve been keeping an eye on for a while (for personal reasons). I’m sure she’s going to get hired soon. Chrissa has a lot of goodwill. :D

What else? Well— I’m not really over my father’s death as I write… but I try to stay strong. My family needs me, my mom is hit down by depression and all friends and relatives come over almost every day now to help us keep up with things. Especially mom.

No miracles, but together we can do more than we would if we were to live alone. I wouldn’t have survived…
