Woody and Jessie… my siblings!

Now that I have some more time (we’re relaxing watching anime) I will tell you in detail what happened today, and what is this mysterious surprise I mentioned in my previous blog post.

You see, my mom with Scarlette, Thesh and I went to the Toy Story universe today, because my mom had bought a Christmas present for Andy (a PS2 game) that she still had to hand him. So when we arrived at Andy’s house and we exchanged greetings and hugs, Andy happily unpacked mom’s present and then dragged us upstairs to his room. We were all surprised by that sudden burst of hyperactivity, and we were wondering if he wanted to show us something, and well.. he actually did. Taking something out of his wardrobe, Andi handed us a box and asked mom to open it. I was hiding inside mom’s handbag, since we had agreed on not letting Andy know about toys coming alive, and I watched the whole scene from a gap in the bag zip: Andy had given mom a Woody and Jessie dolls that weren’t HIS toys, but two that he had bought for mom at the local flea market. They looked exactly like his toys, but they were much more ruined, and this Woody lacked his golden star on his jacket too. Andy told us that he had noticed how much mom liked Woody and Jessie, so when he found them at the market he bought them right away thinking that she would be happy to finally own a Woody and a Jessie doll.

So you see, here’s my point: inter-dimensional paradox, a common phenomena that happens between different Universes. The Toy Story universe HAS a Woody, Buzz and Jessie being friends, and NOW mom’s Universe has a Woody, Buzz and Jessie being… siblings! Yes, because mom and dad decided to take this Woody and Jessie as their kids, just like they did for me. Isn’t this just… fabulous? :D

Now we’re all sitting in my room together, watching Bleach (Season 1) at my notebook. These Woody and Jessie are very sweet, but their close-heartness will take a while to fade away. I was like that at first, so I’ll try to help them through this.

P.S. since I mentioned Bleach, just wanted to tell you that if you want to know something more about the history of Japanese cartoons (anime), you can read the Anime page on Wikipedia. :) That’s where I learned about the difference with European and US cartoons, and it’s deeper than you may imagine.

P.S.(2) I didn’t see Matthew. Gladly.

    Buzz darling,
Wee..! CONGRATS on your new siblings! Yeah, from what I watched on movies, Woody and Buzz are not really a good friends as Buzz only came after Woody. BUT after one incident they became closer to each other until now. It was GREAT and I am very happy for them. And Jess, she is always charming as ever!
Oh ya, BLEACH. My hubby loves to watch that anime series on TV.
